Among the items - which the late singer traded with the owner of a US auction house in return for classic Hollywood memorabilia - is one of his Mickey Mouse jackets, which has a pre-sale estimate of between $10,000 and $15,000.

The online sale, held by the New York-based auction house Gotta Have It!, will take place between October 6 and October 15.

Michael Jackson’s accused killer, Dr. Conrad Murray, may not be convicted so easily.
That’s what Jackson’s former defense lawyer, Thomas Mesereau, suggests in an interview that’s buried in a new book.
The interview is with, of all people, Judge Larry Seidlin, the “crying judge” who made a fool of himself when he presided over the Anna Nicole Smith inquest in Florida. Not satisfied with his two minutes of fame, Seidlin has “published” a “book” called “The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith.”

So instead of playing the hits of the moment, the Harlem event turned into an impromptu tribute to the King of Pop.

Almost one year since the death of her cherished son, the King of Pop’s mother, is set to release her first ever book: Never Can Say Good Bye: The Katherine Jackson Story.

Mrs Jackson teams up with Vintage Pop Media to create a family-album-style coffee table book for MJ fans. The hard cover edition, contains 150 pages of high-gloss, never-before-seen photos punctuated with anecdotes, quotes and her inside perspective on raising Michael Jackson.

On March 5, 2009,when music legend Michael Jackson announced that he would perform a run of 50 concerts at London's O2 Arena in a comeback tour called This Is It, the media largely greeted the news with skepticism and derision.

The Guardian wrote that a quickly erected stage at the press conference "served only to heighten Jackson's physical weirdness--the sunken cheeks, the upturned nose, the overpronounced chin cleft." The Telegraph described his behavior as "bizarre," and so many rumors circulated about his ill health that the tour's promoter, AEG, was forced to issue a statement that Jackson had undergone a battery of tests to prove he was in condition to play the dates.

Michael Jackson Tribute Added To BET Awards

On June 27th, Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium will see one of the most exciting hip-hop line-ups take to the stage for the 10th annual BET Awards. Heavyweights such as Kanye West and T.I. will mark their comebacks, and now Eminem, Usher, Alicia Keys and T-Pain have been added to the performance roster.

Reports by Rolling Stone indicate that DJ Khaled, T-Pain, Ludacris, and Rick Ross will unite for a performance of "All I Do Is Win" with a special guest.

Also expected in attendance are Prince, John Legend, and the Jackson Family - who will be privy to a Michael Jackson tribute just over a year since his death. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the honoring follows last year's ceremony, during which artists gave last minute performances in the late star's honor.

The BET Awards air live on BET this June 27th from the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium at 8/7c.
